For the 2018 edition of The Copenhagen International Fashion Fair, CIFF's Creative Director, Kristian Andersen, invited founder and director of MACHINE-A Stavros Karelis to curate the CIFF Raven Projects Area. Karelis' unwavering support and knowledge of emerging design talent presents CIFF with a curation at the cutting edge of contemporary fashion. With booths designed by Virgil Abloh, Sami Janjer and Max Lamb, Samuel Ross, 1Granary, i-D, MM6 and Alyx, Bex Cassie curated SHOWstudio's booth, showcasing examples of illustration that challenge conventional understandings of the medium, alongside animations, film and footage from illustration live broadcasts in SHOWstudio's archive.

Alongside, SHOWstudio's long time collaborator and artist Fiona Gourlay illustrated looks from CIFF's A/W 18 fashion shows live, allowing the public unprecedented access and insight into her unique artistic process. Throughout the period, the space evolved as Gourlay illustrated onto the walls directly.
